About the site
In-Rose.Com is the portfolio of Vicky Zhu. It serves to showcase my designs and photography over the years and is constantly updated and revised as new work comes in and old work becomes outdated. The name in rose stems from a long-term obsession with the anime Gundam Wing. In it, the protagonist, Heero Yuy, explains how the rose is a symbol of happiness to the ancient Germanic tribes: "If blood-red roses flowered on the grave markers of the dead, it meant that the person's soul and transcended death and gone on to live again."

About me
I am Vicky, a Chinese-Canadian student at Emory University. When not being a student, I am a freelance web designer and a fiction writer.
I also enjoy music (playing the violin), photography, and learning to ballroom dance.
